About

I'm Nenad — a software engineer with a background in Electrical and Computer Engineering who likes building the unglamorous infrastructure that everything else stands on: databases, CI, control planes. Most of what I do lives at the intersection of distributed systems and developer experience.

I'm currently a Software Developer at KEBA Group, working full-stack and cloud-native on the modernization of their software ecosystem — microservices, Azure infrastructure, and the front-ends on top of it.

I also spent a year as a Teaching Associate at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, lecturing in Modeling and Simulation and Distributed Systems & Algorithms — time that pulled me deeper into the theory behind why distributed systems scale, or don't.

Outside of that, I'm building three products under the same small umbrella: Norn, Vörðr, and Skuld — managed Postgres, a CI warden, and field-service software, in that order of how I spend my time.

I care about software that's honest about its trade-offs: shadow modes before enforcement, BYOC before lock-in, boring failure modes over clever ones.
